A compelling Narrative

Hatsuka Otowa, fresh off the heels of a successful youkai exorcism quest, returns home eager for a well-deserved break. But little does she know, a new mission awaits. A frantic phone call from Mizumori Shrine, her family’s hereditary Shinto shrine, disrupts her plans. It’s her father, requesting her immediate presence for another youkai eradication quest. Exhausted from her previous endeavor, Hatsuka protests, questioning why her older sister, Keika, isn’t tasked instead. However, after some negotiation, she ultimately agrees.

Upon arrival at the troubled shrine, a young priest fills Hatsuka in. Youkai have emerged in the vicinity, accompanied by an unsettlingly cold snap. Sensing a mysterious force lurking within the nearby woods, Hatsuka deduces it’s the root cause of the local disturbances. With unwavering determination, she ventures forth, ready to tackle this new challenge and fulfill her duty.
